Southgate School Open Evening Kindle Winners
Posted on: November 19th 2018It was an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to visit five wonderful primary schools over the last few weeks to present each of these five lucky students with a Kindle Fire.
The prize is in acknowledgment of their efforts to visit every department of Southgate school during the open evenings in October.
I had the chance while visiting to speak to teachers and view some of the year 6 work on display and I have to say it was very impressive.
Each of the winners received their awards with good grace and it was lovely to have the chance to talk briefly to them about their ambitions for secondary school.
I hope to be working with each of them next year along with their fantastic peers.
The fiver lucky winners were picked from a hat. The winners were Sienna from Eversley Primary School, Georgia from Trent Primary School, Calypso from DeBohun Primary School, Daniel from Danegrove Primary School and Lucas from Westgrove Primary School.
