Borough Trampolining Competition

On Thursday 28^th November 2019 the Southgate Trampoline Squad participated in the Enfield Borough Trampolining Competition, held at Edmonton Green Leisure Centre. Southgate went to the competition as holders in the immediate category from last year and were very keen to continue the success we have had over the last few years.

A squad of 18 students participated across 3 different age categories, Junior - Year 7/8, Intermediate - Year 9/10 and Senior Years 11/12/13. Prior to the competition students trained tirelessly, giving up their evenings and on the occasional day coming into school at 7:45am for additional training. The effort and hard work allowed students to perfect routines of extreme difficulty and allowed Southgate to performed exceptionally well on the day with a number of standout performances, individually and collectively.

A particular well done to Maja Szymkiewicz and Ella Campbell who were judging the various competitions throughout the day.
