Visit from Stuart Lawrence
Posted on: June 17th 2022This week Southgate School had the pleasure of welcoming The Right Honourable Stuart Lawrence. Stuart, who is the brother of Stephen Lawrence, spoke with 50 Year 9 students about the impact of them finding their voice and challenging them to achieve their potential in life. Stuart shared anecdotes and stories with students about the events that have shaped his outlook on life and also gave students to opportunity to ask questions. Well done to everyone who took part – the students left the event inspired and feeling passionate about the prospect of finding their own voices.
