Presentation Afternoon Wednesday 11th July 2018
Posted on: July 11th 2018Congratulations to those students who received awards at Presentation Afternoon on Wednesday 11th July. A huge thank you to our guest speaker Inua Ellams; Inua is an inspirational person for our students to hear from, he is an accomplished playwright for radio, has had productions on at The National Theatre and the BBC. Inua’s work focuses on identity, displacement and destiny and we were lucky enough to have Inua recite some of his poetry to us during his speech.
Presentation Afternoon is a highly prestigious event and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students throughout the academic year. Students from Year 7 to Year 11 were given Subject and Head of Year Awards, with 5 students receiving the highest accolade of Student of the Year – congratulations to Gurkiran Duggal, Madeleine Stoughton, Ayaka Terashima, Makhesha Leigertwood-Gibson and Alex Davey-Sims.
