Mr Krishan Kadodwala |
I am currently responsible for leading a large team in sales, marketing and account management across the UK and Ireland Markets in the online travel industry. I have more the 10 + years in sales marketing, business development and leadership roles in the hospitality industry, I have expertise in helping business in the industry improve online and technology backgrounds and truly believe that travel can be a source of good and peace, allowing people explore different cultures and destinations. Personally, I have experience, having worked in the United Arab Emirates as well and setting up market management team in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh. I graduated doing Chemistry and have also been passionate about education particularly as my final year project was focused on how to bring fun back to Chemistry. Having mentored children through mentorship works and recently becoming a dad, I hope to use my knowledge and skills to assist the school. I am born and raised in Rugby, Warwickshire, however my professional life has seen me call Enfield my home, having lived in Southgate and now in Gordon Hill over the last 2.5 years. |
Mrs Sharon Gaughan |
I have worked for over 30 years in the Banking sector. During my career I have worked in various aspects of Finance particularly Corporate Banking and Compliance. My current rule is working as a Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance for a Foreign Bank. The role requires skills in managing complex projects to ensure compliance with the rules and guidance. This role also requires engagement with various Regulators and Senior Stakeholders of the Bank. For me a recent significant achievement was to set up a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme at my Bank, facilitating colleagues to spend time volunteering in the community and raising funds for various charities. I am involved with a coaching programme at my work for junior members of staff and am interested in the personal development of young people in order to ensure success in their careers. I have lived in Southgate for 20 years. I am very much looking forward to working with the Governors of Southgate School and meeting as many people associated with the School as possible over the coming terms. |
Mr Sukhy Duggal |

I have lived in Enfield for over 15 years and am proud of what our community has achieved, and the potential for further improvement in the future |

I am the Managing Partner of a family law firm and specialise in children work. I have over 20 years’ experience of child protection and safeguarding. I am used to working as part of a leadership team, managing budgets, accounts, human resources and health and safety. I was previously the chair of a pre-school for 4 years and have also previously been a Trustee for Homestart, supporting vulnerable families in the community. I am also in the fortunate position to mentor young people interested in careers in law. My passion in schools is inclusion and SEN, having navigated the education system with a type 1 diabetic son, so I understand the challenges faced by children, their families and schools when extra support is required. I am a parent of 3 children, one of which is in Year 9 at Southgate School. I have lived in Enfield for nearly 10 years and am committed to working hard for our school community. |
Ms Keara Stapleton |
My background is in education, having worked as a primary school teacher and leader in schools in the U.K., the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. My experience in curriculum development, teacher support, and raising educational standards has equipped me with a deep understanding of the teaching and learning process. Currently, I work for a publication in the pensions industry, where I specialise in marketing and advertising. As a Enfield resident, I also previously served as General Manager at a multi-sports venue and charity in Southgate. In this role, I worked closely with the Board of Trustees, gaining valuable insight into good governance and strategic planning, which I now bring to my role as a local governor. I remain passionate about education and am eager to use my experiences to contribute to the governance of Southgate School. |
