The Beacons 2017 - Charity Event Update
Posted on: June 16th 2017Following on from the news article of 26th May 2017, Frank McLoughlin raised an amazing £1,215.37 in aid of meningitis in memory of Maddie Latham-Fox. Frank received generous donations from parents and students of Southgate School.
The 50km walk in the Brecon Beacons was something Frank really enjoyed doing, it was a challenge and he struggled at times, but it was well worth the result. Frank completed the event in 8 hours 53 minutes, coming in 7th out of a total of 177 participants.
