Southgate School celebrates improved GCSE results exceeding national average
Posted on: September 1st 2015Southgate School continues its track record for academic excellence with 100% of GCSE students achieving 5 + A*-G grades and with the number of students achieving A*-C grades including English and Maths increasing by 9 percentage points.
We are delighted to announce that 70% of our GCSE students achieved 5A*-C grades including English and Maths, well above national average.
There were some outstanding individual performances with students gaining impressive sets of A* and A grades: 5 students got all A*/A grades/ 621 A*/A grades achieved across the range of subjects
Once again, 100% of students have secured a route into further education, training or employment. It is always deeply rewarding to be able to celebrate the successes of our students in securing the next steps of their futures and we look forward to welcoming many back to the Sixth Form.
