Gardening Club

It was a great start for the Gardening Club this year!
We had a good harvest in our first season.
This week students harvested about 3 kilos of potatoes, some carrots, a healthy cucumber and a tiny baby tomato.
They were so engaged in digging out potatoes, and pulling out carrots, and very excited to witness first-hand the appearance and size of a small baby carrot.
Students also learnt how to recycle old soil by mixing in organic matter.
